Family-run mountain inn since 1951 in the Churfirsten, famous for its outdoor "Lüsis Suite" and views over Lake Walen.

Berggasthaus Lüsis is a family-run mountain inn, in the same family's hands since 1951, set at 1300 metres in the heart of the Churfirsten mountains. The welcome is warm and unpretentious, in a rustic setting shaped by the surrounding nature. The restaurant serves mountain fare Wednesday to Saturday evenings, and the simple, comfortable rooms are offered on a half-board basis with breakfast included. For something different, the well-known "Lüsis Suite" lets guests sleep outdoors on a waterbed set on a wooden platform, sheltered by a pergola and a glass wall, facing the Churfirsten panorama. A heated tent also hosts weddings, birthdays and family gatherings. The inn is especially popular with hikers and climbers exploring the surrounding trails, with views over Lake Walen and the Heidiland region.
