On the historic Sücka alp, at 1,400 metres above sea level above Triesenberg, Berggasthaus Sücka is one of the very first mountain resorts in Liechtenstein, with a Kurhaus built in the late 19th century. The simple, bright rooms, finished in light wood, offer mountain views from every window, with shared bathrooms. The restaurant showcases organic regional produce: cheese, butter and yoghurt from the neighbouring farm, Liechtenstein beers and wines, fair-trade coffee, and the house speciality, Sücka fondue. Hiking trails and a toboggan run start right outside the inn, while the Malbun ski area is just six minutes away. In winter, the inn cannot be reached by car: a free shuttle links it from the Steg-Tunnel bus stop.

Berggasthaus Sücka lies at 1,400 metres above sea level in the hills above Triesenberg, Liechtenstein, on the Via Alpina. It overlooks the Rhine valley and sits next to the Malbun ski area, six minutes away. In winter the inn is not reachable by road but by a free shuttle from the Steg-Tunnel bus stop. The site is a popular starting point for summer hikes and sledging, in an alpine setting typical of Liechtenstein's mountains, close to the village of Triesenberg and its Walser traditions.
