Hotel Kurhaus Sennis sits on the Sennis alp, at 1,400 metres above sea level, above Berschis and Walenstadt, in the Sarganserland (canton of St. Gallen), on the edge of the Churfirsten range and close to Lake Walenstadt (Walensee), in the Heidiland tourist region. Access is on foot (about two and a half hours from the valley), by booking the hotel shuttle, or by postbus no. 441 to Ragnatsch followed by the Palfries cable car. The site is an excellent starting point for exploring the Churfirsten-Alvier area and its hiking trails.
