Ecumenical health and education centre in Wildhaus, with peaceful single rooms and Churfirsten views. A place of renewal, not a conventional hotel.
Sunnehus is a non-profit, ecumenical health and education centre in Wildhaus, at the top of the Toggenburg valley. Far from a conventional hotel, it is a place of stillness and renewal designed to support people facing mental, emotional or physical challenges. The bright single rooms, deliberately free of entertainment electronics, each come with a private shower and toilet; some can be arranged as doubles. Guests have access to a painting studio, a pottery studio, a music room, a library, a winter garden and a meditation room — spaces conducive to reflection and creativity. From the sun terrace, the view opens onto the Churfirsten mountain panorama. A distinctive place where the rhythm of nature takes precedence over that of tourism.
Sunnehus sits high up in Wildhaus, at the top of the Toggenburg valley in eastern Switzerland, the birthplace of the reformer Zwingli. The site enjoys a calm natural setting dominated by the Churfirsten massif, ideal for walking and quiet reflection. It can be reached by bus from Buchs or Nesslau-Neu St. Johann, followed by roughly a 20-minute walk from the "Lisighaus" stop. The nearest airport is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, about 36 km away, and Schaan-Vaduz railway station is 14 km from the centre.
