The Liechtenstein Treasure Chamber is located in the Engländerbau in the heart of Vaduz and forms part of the Liechtenstein National Museum. It displays objects of great material or symbolic value connected to the Principality, including jewels, weapons and hunting knives, as well as gifts presented to the Princes of Liechtenstein by rulers such as Frederick the Great and Emperor Joseph II. Another highlight is the collection of Liechtenstein native Adulf Peter Goop, featuring exquisite Russian Easter eggs, among them the world-famous Fabergé "Apple Blossom" egg. Among the most unusual exhibits are genuine moon rock samples brought back by the Apollo 11 and Apollo 17 missions. Entry requires a token, purchased at the neighbouring Postal Museum, which opens the way into the climate-controlled treasury. Photography is strictly forbidden inside to protect the exhibits. In a compact space, the Treasure Chamber offers a dense glimpse into princely collecting passion and Liechtenstein's history.
