Haus Schönberg is located in Malbun, an exclave of the municipality of Triesenberg and Liechtenstein's only ski resort, set above 1,600 metres in the Rhaetian Alps. The Malbun cable car is a few minutes' walk away, as are the ski slopes and summer hiking trails. Vaduz, the Liechtenstein capital with its castle and treasure chamber, is about a 20-minute drive away.
