Family-owned since 1924, the property is now run by its fifth generation, Maya and Guido Bärtsch-Kölbener. The 14 rooms, totalling 29 beds, offer practical comfort: some come with shower, toilet, TV and free Wi-Fi, while eight rooms share a bathroom on the corridor, a set-up popular with business travellers, groups and families passing through. The restaurant is particularly known for its homemade Cordon Bleu, toasts and fitness plates, served in a simple, friendly dining room.
