Liechtenstein's family-friendly winter sports resort, at 1,600–2,000 m altitude and about a 20-minute drive from Vaduz: 23 km of slopes, 6 lifts and the Malbi Park kids' area.
Malbun lies in the heart of the Liechtenstein Alps, about a 20-minute drive (roughly 15 km) from the capital Vaduz, at an altitude between 1,600 and 2,000 metres. This cosy winter sports resort is considered especially family-friendly and carries the "Family Destination" seal awarded by Switzerland Tourism. Its 23 km of pistes suit both beginners and more demanding skiers, served by six modern lifts, including detachable chairlifts, some fitted with heated seats. In the centre of the resort, the Malbi Park children's area gives little ones their first taste of skiing, while a small fun park caters to snowboarders and freestyle enthusiasts. Malbun is also a paradise for guided ski touring, winter hiking and ice climbing. The nearest airport is St. Gallen-Altenrhein, around 50 minutes away by car. Tucked away from mass tourism, Malbun offers a quiet, authentic alpine winter holiday.
